WELCOME TO MOURIES IN PROVENCE

Wherever from you arrive, you can only succumb to the charm of this typically Provencal village. Calmly, savor the pleasure to stay in an authentic living environment, in the heart of an always intact natural environment. Nested in the future regional natural reserve of Alpilles, south side, there where the sun shines with a lively and warm light, more than 300 days a year. Mouriès extends over more than 3800 ha, surrounded with olive trees, vines, almond trees and of cypress. This village, of 3000 individuals, soaks in a peace of mind and a Provençal relaxed rhythm of life.

With its geographical privileged situation the village is near the Camargue, the massif of Luberon, beaches of the Mediterranean Sea, in the crossroads of the most prestigious tourist and cultural places of Provence (for more information click here)

In the heart of Vallée des Baux, Mouriès, First oléïcole municipality of France with about 80000 feet of olive trees, its olive oil several times medal-holder of gold, its wines and its products of the soil classified A.O.C. Vallée des Baux. Mouriès also joins as an incontrovertible destination of the Provençal qualitative gastronomy.

You will appreciate quite particularly its city heart lined by the terraces of cafes in the shade of the hundred years old plane trees sheltering the Provencal market of Wednesday morning.

All year round, on Wednesdays mornings, Mouriès took on one thousand colors and scents and the Provencal market invades the city center.
